At the beginning there was a great fascination for the japanese moutain paintings, Zen gardens and bonsai, then the three ingredients murged and it turned out to be a new way of representing the mineral landscape.
Dominique Rambert was taught by the painter and sculptor Georges Rougy Minang with whom she studied sculpture from 1988 to 1992.

The spirit of a tradition can blend into a foreign culture, fertize it and become the link that allows us to come to a new perception.
The fountains and sculptures are made out of siporex on which is fired diluated coloured clay in order to obtain the most natural colour of the rocks and earth.
The basins are impervious to water because of resin that covered them, then a pump draws the water from the basin to the top of the rocks.
AND FOR THE FIGURINES, I realized this sculpture, as i'm a sculptor, to make a gift to my friend, at the end when the people arround looked at it they asked me to do the same for themselves and now i'm working with this , as well I will show you on this gallery all the figurines that i have realized and those that will come. Hope that you will enjoy the visit...
the material that I use is Fimo plaster.
